THE STORY ABOUT KOALA SURF CAMP
We filmed for House Hunters International in February 2011, it was really a great experience. We had so much fun during the filming and the film team was so professional and absolute fantastic. I just had my little baby girl Tilda and brought her all the time, she was sleeping in her buggy next to the camera man when we where filming. The episode was aired in August in the US and just a couple of days ago they showed it in Canada. It is the story how everything started why me and Lena decided to move to Hossegor in France and start The Koala Surf Camp.

If you purchased the house in 2003, but filmed in 2011, how did you make the house look empty & unrenovated? Did you simply move all the furniture out when you filmed, to make it appear that you had not purchased it yet?
ReplyDeleteHello we simply moved all the furniture out it was a big job but it worked very well;D
DeleteThank you for your reply. It is disappointing that House Hunters is so fake, but it was still an interesting episode. I found it fascinating that you wanted to leave Sweden for France, & that you followed your dream & were successful, yet you both still managed to have children. In the U.S., one can choose professional success OR children, but rarely both.
ReplyDeleteI adore Sweden & have been trying to find a job that will let me travel there frequently. It is my favourite place on earth -- serene, surrounded by nature everywhere, with low population density and a high standard of living.
Yes I know I do love the house hunters though;D Thank you! Yes hope we could inspire someone;D Ao glad to hear you like Sweden yes I love it of course since Im Swedish and miss it every day...Its a fantastic country with great nature;D Hope you will get a great visit next time you return;D
