ALMOST ARCTIC - SURFING IN ICELAND

When I surf winter here in Hossegor I feel pretty core, I was in north Norway, Lofoten and surfed a couple of years ago and then felt pretty core. Then these guys shows up and suddenly core got a whole new meening. This short film is called Norður: Almost Arctic and began as a surf trip to a remote region of the West Fjords of Iceland, but quickly became a way to experience the regions history, landscape and understand how a long held set of values and traditions will adjust to fit into a modern world.
