Kirsten Prisk lives and works in Cornwall. She is the really talented photographer shooting surf that unwittingly took retirement first by spending the ages of 14 - 26 surfing, with little thought about anything else. During this time she was lucky enough to have the backing of her family, and surf giant Quksilver who enabled her to follow her passion for wave riding across the globe. But she didnt want to be a surfbum forever and she came to the conclusion she was in deep shit at the age of 26.
Luckily about this time she became passionate about image making and she went on to complete a BA (Hons) in Photography & Digital Imaging, achieving 2:1 and winning an award for her final major project, '600mm'. She also wrote a dissertation on contemporary wedding photography, which led to a passion for creating the photographs you will find in the relevant section of this site.
