THE BOARD SHORTS FILM FESTIVAL 2013
The Board Shorts Film Festival is a festival of short surf films by international artists featuring women. Heading in to its second year the film festival presented by the San Diego Surf Ladies provides a platform to showcase women in the surfing industry and the filmmakers that capture them.
And hey you have less than one week to send us your short films!
The Basics:
1. Film submissions should be over one (1)
minute and under fifteen (15) minutes.
2. Film should be focused on surfing and/or surfing
industry and feature women**
3. Entry Fee = $15 per film. Please email VP@sandiegosurfladies.com for payment details.
4. Deadline for submissions is February 5th, 2013 at 5pm PST

KILLING WAVES WITH TOMS
Dazed Digital launched a competition with TOMS to commission a film by one UK director with a vision for change. Filmmaker Carlos Carneiro fit the brief, winning £5,000 to direct and produce his short film Killing Waves, following the story of Surfers Against Sewage (SAS), an environmental organisation seeking to preserve our beaches and campaign against water pollution.
